Privacy and Marketing Policy

GENERAL

1.1 This privacy and marketing policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how EECC Network, org. no. — (“EECC Network”, “we”) collects, uses, discloses and stores personal data.

1.2 The privacy policy applies to EECC Network’s handling of personal data collected when using our website, inquiries, customer meetings and events.

1.3 You should always feel safe when you provide us with your personal data. This policy exists to clarify how our data handling is carried out and that it complies with current data protection legislation (GDPR) and the EU’s new rules for digital services.

COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

2.1 EECC Network is the personal data controller and is responsible for our processing of your personal data and that this processing takes place in accordance with applicable legislation.

2.2 The information we collect about you is done with your consent. This can be when you fill in forms or send e-mails, when you order products or services, or provide information at a customer meeting.

2.3 Collected personal data is used for the purpose of carrying out the actions you requested, and/or to comply with applicable legislation.

2.4 The storage period for personal data depends on what the data is and what it is intended to be used for, but is never longer than what is required to complete what is mentioned in the previous point (2.3).

2.4.1 The storage period is a maximum of 24 months after the customer last interacted with EECC Network, unless otherwise required by law.

2.5 In order to protect children’s privacy, we do not collect or use any form of information that can be linked to children we know to be under 13 years old, provided that the guardian has not allowed this. The guardian always has the right to access and also delete information provided by the child.

THIRD PARTY SHARING

3.1 In order to complete our tasks, we use a number of third-party services, with which the personal data may be shared. All of these services are provided by companies that guarantee that their data handling complies with the data protection laws that apply in Sweden.

When you submit a message through our contact form (which uses the WPForms plugin), we collect the personal data you voluntarily provide, such as name, email address and message content. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and communicate with you.

SHARING WITH OTHER PARTIES

4.1 Your personal data will not be shared with any third party other than those mentioned above, provided that we have not received your explicit permission to do so.

4.2 If your data is to be shared with parties with operations outside the EU that are not covered by the data protection laws that apply in Sweden, we ensure that measures are taken to guarantee data protection that corresponds to the standard required in Sweden.

VIEWING AND REPORTING OF ADVERTISEMENTS

5.1 To improve advertising transparency, we will clearly inform users about why they are seeing specific ads and who has paid for them. Advertising based on sensitive information such as political or religious beliefs is prohibited.

5.2 Users have the right to object to the use of their personal data for targeted advertising and we will honor such objections promptly.

7.1 EECC Network is responsible for processing your personal data in accordance with current legislation.

7.2 EECC Network will, at your request or on its own initiative, correct, anonymize, delete or supplement personal data that is found to be incorrect, incomplete or misleading.

7.3 You have the right to request the following:

Access to your personal data. You have the right, per written request, once per calendar year free of charge to receive an extract from the register about what personal data is registered about you, what this is used for, and which parties have or may have access to it.
Correction of your personal data. Per written request, we will correct or supplement incorrect or incomplete information we process about you as quickly as possible.
Deletion of your personal data. You have the right, per written request, to have the personal data we process about you permanently deleted, provided that they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected. Exceptions also exist to comply with legal requirements, for example current accounting and tax legislation that requires a certain storage period for certain data.
Limitation of treatment. You can request that your personal data be marked so that it may only be processed for certain limited purposes. This may mean, for example, that you request that the processing of data you consider to be incorrect be restricted while their correctness is investigated.

7.4 You have the right to object in writing to us processing your personal data for direct marketing. As soon as this objection is received, the processing of your personal data for these purposes ceases.
